  • Brittney Nowak
    Pet Nurse

    Brittney joined the Red Barn Team in April of 2011. She has lived in Dahlonega her whole life. She was a member of the FFA and lives on a small farm with horses and cattle. She was married in March of 2015. She has a little girl and another one on the way. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and helping around the family farm. She has 3 dogs, 2 cats and horses of her own.

  • Nichole Ward
    Pet Nurse

    Nichole joined the Red Barn Team in April of 2015. Nichole is a native of Baltimore whom now lives in Dahlonega, Ga with her four cats and chihuahua Cosmo. She has spent the last five years working with shelter animals. She dedicates a lot of her time to fostering kittens and enjoys fishing with family on Lake Lanier.

  • Peyton Heath
    Pet Nurse

    Peyton joined the Red barn team in November of 2015. She has lived in Pickens County for her entire life. Peyton is currently attending the University of North Georgia pursuing a degree in Biology. After she graduates, she hopes to attend the University of Georgia and complete a veterinary or zoology degree. She has spent time volunteering with the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve and Zoo, and currently has an internship working with a large animal Veterinarian in Blue Ridge, GA. She currently owns a Shetland sheepdog named Kato, several cats, chickens, and a gargoyle gecko named Ember.

  • Sarah Smith
    Pet Nurse

    Sarah joined the Red Barn Team in March of 2016. She has spent her entire life in Dawsonville. Sarah has a husband, two dogs, Johnny Bravo and Bentley, a cat named Whiskey and a new baby on the way. She has her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from University of North Georgia and hopes to eventually pursue a career in animal nutrition. In her free time she enjoys yoga, hunting, fishing, and every other outdoor activity. She is also a licensed taxidermist and enjoys it as a hobby.

  • Morgan Kepner
    Pet Nurse

    Morgan joined the Red Barn Team in March of 2016. She is originally from Social Circle, GA. She is currently a student at The University of North Georgia studying Biology. She hopes to one day become a Veterinarian. Morgan has 3 cats and a dog.

  • Courtney Chandler
    Pet Nurse

    Courtney joined the Red Barn Team in December of 2016. She was born in Gainesville, GA but has lived several places in South Georgia. She currently owns a cat named Simba, a Pitbull, a Great Dane and a Mastiff whom are all rescues. She has a compassion for animal welfare that is reflected in her work and her Fear Free Certification. She currently stands on the board for TLC: Lumpkin County’s No-Kill shelter and one day wishes to start her own Pit rescue.

  • Shannon Clough
    Pet Nurse

    Shannon Joined the Red Barn team in August 2017. She has lived in Dahlonega for 15 years. Shannon started riding horses at a very young age, and her passion is Barrel Racing. She has several animals that include an array of turkeys, three horses, three cats and three dogs. Shannon has a passion for animal health and enjoys giving your pets the attention they deserve while visiting our hospital.

  • Morgan Eason
    Pet Nurse

    Morgan joined the Red Barn team in June 2018. She recently moved to Dahlonega from Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from the University of North Florida in 2017 with a Bachelors Degree in Wildlife Conservation with a concentration in Shark Ecology. Morgan plans on going to Vet school and wants to work with Aquatics. She currently lives with her sister, Sydney, and they have two dogs, a chihuahua named Izzie and a Beagle named Charley.

  • Claire Terwilliger
    Pet Nurse

    Claire is from Newnan, GA.  She is currently attending the University of North Georgia, majoring in Biology/Pre-Vet, and plans to become a Veterinarian.  She enjoys socializing with friends, and any outdoor activity. Claire loves all animals, growing up in a family with a dog, rabbit, guinea pig, and birds. Claire has volunteered with the Newnan Coweta Humane Society and her family is currently fostering a sweet pit mix, rescued from the animal shelter.

  • Hanna Panter
    Pet Nurse

    Hanna joined the Red Barn Team in July of 2018. She was born and raised in Dahlonega, Ga and has a love for horses and animals alike. She enjoys trail riding and hunting in her spare time. She currently has two dogs and a gelding named Bentley. Hanna especially enjoys puppy kisses she receives while working here and strives to make every patient feel comfortable while here at Red Barn.
