    Nurse Manager

    Melissa is a mother, wife, nurse manger, and Certified Veterinary Assistant. She has been a part of the Red Barn Veterinary family since 2014 and has been in the veterinary field since 2008. Melissa has several certifications in various aspects of veterinary medicine and strives to offer her patients the best veterinary care possible. As a Dahlonega native she enjoys spending time at Yahoola Creek Park, then relaxing on the Dahlonega Square with her family and four legged friends on the weekends. She enjoys sharing her compassion for animals and is consistently improving her knowledge in veterinary medicine to better care for her patients.

    Mariah Bafile
    Nurse Manager/ Pharmacy Manager

    Mariah joined the Red Barn Team in July of 2014. She has lived in Dahlonega, GA for most of her life. She is a recent graduate of the University of North Georgia where she obtained a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She thoroughly enjoys her work in the Field of Veterinary Medicine and is always researching and learning new procedures and information to help her be a better technician and manager. Mariah has owned animals all her life. She began riding horses at a young age and still enjoys being a part of the equestrian life. She and her husband currently have three dogs, three cats, a flock of chickens and a horse. She and her husband also welcomed a new member of the team, their son in September of last year.

    Linsey Campbell
    Pet Nurse/ CVA/ CPR Certified/ Front Desk Manager

    Linsey joined the Red Barn Team in January of 2018. She is a Highschool graduate and is currently attending college online. She enjoys riding horses in her free time and has trained as a hunter/jumper but is currently competing in barrel racing. She has two cats and a dog at home. Linsey enjoys working with our clients and their pets and always has a smile when greeting them. Linsey works in reception two days a week as well while still being an amazing member of our nurse team. She strives to work hard while gaining knowledge in the veterinary field.

    Doreen Sanders
    Pet Nurse/ Surgery Lead/ CVA

    Doreen joined the Red Barn Team in December of 2014. She previously worked for several years as the caretaker at TLC Humane Society. She lives in Dahlonega with her husband and several rescue pets and enjoys spending quiet time at home with them watching the deer in her back yard. Since working here Doreen has attained her Fear Free certification in hopes of helping nervous pets to gain more confidence and comfort while being here with us. She also takes great care as our lead surgery nurse always ensuring the best comfort and experience for your pet while with us!

    Pet Nurse/ CVA/ CPR Certified

    Courtney joined the Red Barn Team in December of 2016. She was born in Gainesville, GA but has lived several places in South Georgia. She currently owns two cats Simba and Loki, and a Pitbull named Darcy who are all rescues. Courtney and her husband also have a beautiful son, Presley. She has a compassion for animal welfare that is reflected in her work and her Fear Free Certification.

    Hanna joined the Red Barn Team in July of 2018. She was born and raised in Dahlonega, Ga and has a love for horses and animals alike.  Hanna married in 2020 and she and her husband have a daughter Austyn and a dog names Wilson. She enjoys trail riding horses and hunting in her spare time. Hanna especially enjoys puppy kisses she receives while working here and strives to make every patient feel comfortable while at Red Barn.

    Kayla joined the Red Barn Team in July of 2020. She has lived in Dahlonega her entire life and grown up always having animals. Kayla started with us as a receptionist, but recently made her move to the technician side of the hospital to serve your pet in a new way! We are glad to have her on our team and she has continued to amaze us with her wonderful attitude and willingness to learn. Kayla recently married this past spring of 2023! On her days off she enjoys spending time with her husband, their dogs Riley and Sky Rae, chickens and cats Pippa and Posie! She loves to take her dogs kayaking and involving them in other hobbies as well.

    Shelby Clark
    Pet Nurse

    Shelby joined the Red Barn team in August 2019 and has a great passion for the field of veterinary medicine. She has a love for all animals and strives to care for them in the best ways possible. She has three dogs, Cali a collie mix, Titan a boxer and Rascal(pictured) a husky/pit mix. Before veterinary medicine she lived in Denmark for 7 years and moved back to the States in 2013 where she graduated from East Hall High School. We love having her on our Team!

    Mary Joined the Red Barn team September of 2020. Born in Butte, MT and finally landed in GA in 1999. Currently, she is enrolled in an online college program pursuing her degree in Veterinary Technology. Mary enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter Danni Kei, hiking, camping, and playing pool in her spare time. She has two dogs named Blossom and Sophie. We are so happy to have Mary be a part of our team and she looks forward to treating your pets with the best of care!

    Emma joined the Red Barn Team in June of 2021. She has lived in Tucson, AZ her entire life until her recent move to Dahlonega where she plans to attend University of North Georgia to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She aspires to attend veterinary school in the future. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses and spending time with loved ones. Emma is excited to join our team and help provide another caring hand in your pet’s care.

    Leah Joined the Red Barn team in March of 2022. She is currently a senior in high school and has lived in Hall County her entire life. Leah has loved working with animals of all kinds for as long as she can remember. She has two dogs named Sadie Belle and Piper as well as a cat named Skye. When she isn’t at work Leah is a competitive equestrian and a dedicated student. She has high hopes of becoming a veterinarian in the future! Leah is very compassionate and caring with all the patients she sees and hopes to better her knowledge in this field while here at Red Barn.

    Kendall joined the Red Barn team in January of 2023. She is a new graduate from Dawson County High School. Kendall has lived in Dawsonville her entire life and has always had an interest in Veterinary Medicine. She plans on attending Gwinnett Technical College's Veterinary Technician program. She currently has a cat named Leroy and a Blue Healer named Oakley. In her free time, she loves to hike and go on adventures.

    Amber first joined the Red Barn team in 2012 as a receptionist but left for a short period while focusing on her family. We are so happy to have her back as a technician! Amber has always had a strong passion for veterinary medicine and brings to the table 13 years of experience in the field front and back. She has a passion for farm animals as well as our companion friends. Amber is a mother of two wonderful children Sadie and Tate and together they have two cats, Turbo and OJ and a fish Pearl. Amber enjoys spending her spare time outdoors and with friends and family. We are happy to have Amber here to help make your pets’ experience the best!

    Brooke joined the Red Barn team in June of 2023. She has been in the field of Veterinary medicine for 5 years now and we are excited to have her on our team! Brooke is married to her husband Jordan, and they have a daughter Payton, a dog Saylor and cat Rooster. In her off hours she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves anything Disney or cow! Brooke is always ready to greet you and your pets with a warm smile and is here to help you both enjoy your visit with us!

    Kayley joined the Red Barn team in May 2023. She is very excited to be a new part of our crew and looks forward to learning about all our patients! She has over 10 years of experience with exotic animals where she helped with her family’s reptile shop in the past. She loves spending time with her bearded dragon Arlo, border collie mix Teddy, and two cats Ty and Belle. On her days off she enjoys time with her husband and going to different places! Kayley always welcomes you in with a smile and is ready help you and your pet navigate their appointment with comfort and ease.
