    Mellissa Durden
    Lead Receptionist

    Mellissa joined the Red Barn Team in November of 2016. She was born in California and moved to Florida with her family when she was 15. In 2016 Mellissa and her family relocated to Georgia and bought a small farm. Mellissa and her husband have two dogs Bo and Ruby and two horses Honey and Cash. On the weekends they enjoy hiking with their pups or going trail riding in local national forests and parks.

    Linsey Campbell
    Pet Nurse/ CVA/ CPR Certified/ Front Desk Manager

    Linsey joined the Red Barn Team in January of 2018. She is a Highschool graduate and is currently attending college online. She enjoys riding horses in her free time and has trained as a hunter/jumper but is currently competing in barrel racing. She has two cats and a dog at home. Linsey enjoys working with our clients and their pets and always has a smile when greeting them. Linsey works in reception two days a week as well while still being an amazing member of our nurse team. She strives to work hard while gaining knowledge in the veterinary field.

    Maddie Holden
    Receptionist

    Maddie joined the Red Barn team February of 2022.  She is a freshman at UNG Dahlonega, originally from Habersham, GA. She is majoring in biology with an interest in Veterinary Medicine. Maddie has one sweet dog back at home named Bailey. In her free time, she loves to hike, take camping trips and paddle board with her friends. Maddie looks forward to greeting you when you come to Red Barn and giving her love to your pets while they visit with us!

    Johnnie Denny
    Receptionist

    Johnnie joined the Red Barn team in October of 2022. She grew up in Flowery Branch but moved to Dahlonega almost 10 years ago. She lives with her fiancé, their two dogs, Dexter and Remi as well as three cats, Simon, Monte and Rasta. They also have a pig named Chico and an array of chickens. Johnnie grew up with animals and has always felt a deep passion for their well-being! We are happy to have her be a part of the team and to provide our clients with another compassionate team member. We are excited to help her further her knowledge and experience in the field of animal medicine.

    Reese Miller
    Receptionist

    Reese joined the Red Barn team in October of 2022. She is a recent high school graduate and will soon be living on her own with my two cats Fredrick and Alfie and her horse Nala. She has always had an interest in animal medicine and aspires to attend Veterinary College in the future. In her free time, she enjoys being with her animals and hiking. Reese is excited to ensure that you and your pet have an enjoyable and warm greeting when you come to see us!

    Elizabeth Colley
    Receptionist

    Elizabeth joined the Red Barn team in May of 2023. She is currently a senior at the University of North Georgia studying psychology and neuroscience with the prospects of obtaining her Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience. Elizabeth is an avid animal lover, having three cats at home: Faith, Butter and the newest addition Cheese Fry! She also works in a rodent research facility, taking care of hundreds of mice. Elizabeth loves to serve clients and is thrilled to be a part of the Red Barn team!
