Dr. Fitzner had the dream of becoming a veterinarian since she was two years old. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2012 with bachelor’s degrees in Avian Biology and Biological Sciences. She attended St. George’s University College of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada and completed her clinical rotations at Auburn University in January 2018. Her interests include preventative care, exotic pet husbandry, surgery, neurology, and emergency.

Dr. Fitzner and her husband introduced their son Liam into the world in October of 2021. At their home they have their three dogs Cadwin (a Chiweenie), Andy (a terrier mix) and Marky (a special needs Chihuahua/Pekinese mix). In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, botany, traveling, cooking, and playing her guitar. 

Linsey joined the Red Barn Team in January of 2018. She enjoys riding horses in her free time. Linsey and her husband share three dogs named Enzo, Loretta and Hercules, as well as two cats named Cal and Quinn. Linsey loves working with our clients and their pets and always has a smile when greeting them. She is a dedicated team member who continually expands her knowledge in the veterinary field.
